Hourly Investigations: A minimum commitment of 5 hours is required for all hourly investigations, along with a non-refundable retainer covering 5 Hours of service, prior to the commencement of any investigative services. This retainer will be applied toward the total cost of services rendered. Any additional hours beyond the initial 5-hour minimum will be billed at the service-specific hourly rate.

Payment Schedule: For ongoing investigations exceeding one week, invoices will be issued weekly for all hours worked and expenses incurred during the prior week. Payment is due within 3 business days of invoice issuance.

Flat-Rate Services: For flat-rate reports and locates, a 50% non-refundable deposit of the total estimated cost is due prior to the commencement of services. The remaining balance will be invoiced weekly as the investigation progresses, with final payment due upon completion.

Example: If travel to a location requires 2 hours round-trip and 100 km, the total travel cost would be $60 for commute time (2 hours x $30/hour) and $66 for mileage (100 km x $0.65/km), totaling $131.
